Terms of Service

Effective date: August 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of lorebuilders.com and the services provided by Lore, a Rye Valley company based in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

If you engage Lore for client work, a separate written agreement or statement of work will govern that engagement. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls.

Acceptance of terms

By using this website, subscribing to our newsletter, downloading a resource, submitting a site for an AI visibility check, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use this site.

Description of services

Lore provides marketing services to businesses, which may include:

The specific scope of any engagement is defined in the applicable proposal or statement of work. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website or its free tools at any time.

  • ·Generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization, and search engine optimization strategy and execution.
  • ·Content research, production, and editing, with human editorial review before anything ships.
  • ·Technical implementation work on client websites, applied and verified rather than only recommended.
  • ·Digital public relations and earned link work.
  • ·Measurement and reporting on AI and search visibility.
  • ·Free resources published on this site, including checklists, newsletters, and the AI visibility check tool.

No guarantee of results

This is important, so we will be direct about it. Lore does not guarantee any specific ranking, citation, AI mention, traffic level, lead volume, revenue outcome, or timeline. Anyone in this category who promises you a guaranteed result is selling you something they cannot control.

Search engines and AI answer engines are third-party systems. Their algorithms, models, training data, indexing behavior, and citation logic change without notice and are outside our control. Results also depend on your market, your competitors, your product, and how quickly your team implements recommendations.

Past results described in case studies on this site reflect the specific circumstances of those clients. They are illustrative and are not a prediction or promise of the results you will achieve.

Free tools on this site, including the AI visibility check, produce automated estimates generated in part by large language models. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for informational purposes only.

Client obligations

Our work depends on your participation. If you engage us, you agree to:

Delays or gaps in access, feedback, or approvals will affect timelines and outcomes.

  • ·Provide timely access to the systems, accounts, and analytics we need to do the work.
  • ·Give timely feedback and approvals so schedules can be met.
  • ·Ensure that materials you provide to us are accurate and that you have the rights to use them.
  • ·Comply with applicable laws and with the terms of any third-party platform involved in the work.
  • ·Tell us promptly about brand, legal, or regulatory constraints that affect published content.

Payment terms

Fees, billing frequency, and engagement length are set out in your proposal or statement of work. Unless that document says otherwise, fees are billed in advance, are due on receipt of invoice, and are non-refundable once the covered period has begun.

Payments are processed by our payment processor. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We may pause work on past-due accounts after giving you notice.

Intellectual property and ownership of deliverables

Upon full payment for the applicable engagement period, you own the final deliverables we create specifically for you, including published content, page copy, and site changes we implement on your properties.

Lore retains ownership of its own pre-existing and general property, including our methods, frameworks, templates, internal tooling, prompts, checklists, and anything we develop outside of your engagement. Where any of that is embedded in a deliverable, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use it as part of that deliverable.

All content on this website, including our text, design, and brand marks, belongs to Lore or Rye Valley. You may share and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale or use our marks to imply endorsement.

Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may reference your company name and describe the work in our own marketing and case studies.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, to scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or to attempt unauthorized access to any system. We may block access for any of these reasons.

Termination

Either party may end an engagement according to the notice terms in the applicable statement of work. If no notice period is specified, either party may terminate with 30 days written notice.

On termination, you remain responsible for fees covering work performed and the current billing period. We will hand over completed deliverables for which you have paid.

We may suspend or terminate immediately for non-payment, for a material breach that is not cured after notice, or if continuing the work would require us to publish something we consider misleading or unethical.

Disclaimers

This website and its free tools are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any information on it is complete, current, or accurate. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or tax advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lore and Rye Valley are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to this website or our services.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid us anything, our total liability is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lore and Rye Valley from claims arising out of materials you provide to us, your use of deliverables after they leave our hands, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Charleston County, South Carolina, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
